My experience on this

Thanks to the internet I can read, play, listen music, see some videos and give my personal opinion about certain themes. And blogging is the last thing I thought I would do.

I found very funny do blogs, especially in English. For some themes I read interesting things that I never give me the time before to read it, like The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and then practice my writing skills, that always I consider bad, because I don't know how to extend the text, always writing in a few words the important, nothing of decorated. And surprisingly, now I can do it, it's not so difficult, only with some inspiration, a clear idea and a little of time. Of course, doing this job in English help to practices this language, searching new words that I never have read or listened the translation.

I don't know what to include, it's fine to me. But maybe other themes ... that I can't imagine, I don't have creativity. Should be themes like, Space, The mysteries of life, If exist extraterrestrial life similar to us in other planets, What complex is the life to born in this planet. Well, themes not so complicated.

Anyways, thanks to make fun this subject teacher.

LHC

For many things, when you have to prove something or when you are debating, you need a good argument or good evidence for make understand to the other what is your position or what you are saying is the true. And science isn't an exception, in this area are usually used the scientific method, that consist in make an observation, then think "Why that happen?" and make an hypothesis, with this in mind, you can predicate what is going to happen and make an experiment that confirm it, for this step is common use many materials and instruments, describing all you used, making observations of how act the real world, comparing if it matches with your initial idea. If doesn't accord your observation with your hypothesis, you'd refine or reject your hypothesis, then try it again, until you experiment explain in a good way the hypothesis. If you reach this point, congrats! Other scientist can replicated your experiment for confirms the hypothesis or adjust it for what are the looking for.

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC)
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is a large instrument that was build by the CERN beneath the France-Switzerland border. This instrument is usually use to know what happen near the Big-bang explosion and prove the Standard Model , accelerating subatomic particles near to the speed of light and making it crush with other particle in opposite way. This experiment help to emerge new species of heavy particles. And, thank to this, it has been discovered the Higgs boson, an elementary particle in the Standard Model of particle physics.
The technology that is used in this machine is the most sophisticated in the area, having a good number of engineers and scientists on it.

From itself, don't have a use that normal person can do with it, but scientist can answer some questions like: Are the masses of elementary particles actually generated by the Higgs mechanism via electroweak symmetry breaking? Is supersymmetry, an extension of the Standard Model and Poincaré symmetry, realized in nature, implying that all known particles have supersymmetric partners? Are there extra dimensions, as predicted by various models based on string theory, and can we detect them? What is the nature of the dark matter that appears to account for 27% of the mass-energy of the universe?
For me, know this questions, sounds very interesting, although I don't know so much about the matter, all that I got, is from wikipedia, some other pages of what does consist, and some videos of the Standard Model.
Some bad things about is that this experiments at the Large Hadron Collider sparked fears that the particle collisions might produce doomsday phenomena, involving the production of stable microscopic black holes or the creation of hypothetical particles called strangelets. Two CERN-commissioned safety reviews examined these concerns and concluded that the experiments at the LHC present no danger and that there is no reason for concern, a conclusion expressly endorsed by the American Physical Society.

The subject that I like

Resultado de imagen para physics

If you had read my other post, probably you will notice that I like physics.
But, in the beginning, I like math, i always saw them like a game, when you realize an equation, when you "play" with the numbers and how math can help you in certain way to ... i don't know, buy bread, distribute a certain amount of something and  in some basics economic things.
With this in mind, when I met physics, I said " OH! Another way to use math and I can use it to know useless things that anybody cares" or something similar.
In this classes I always pay attention to the teacher, and when he explain a "formula" and what is good for. Then, when I went to Preu, I love how the teacher sees the nature, or something like that, he always had an "easy " point of view of how you can find the formula given above. Of something so easy, obtain a complex calculation, like the mass of the Earth or, with more knowledge, obtain the gravitation constant. Of course this potentiate when I went to the university, last year.
Obviously, this equation works in a theoretical world when, almost everything, are negligible. But it still giving a valid result, and this thing of modeling the life, predicting what is going to happen in a certain amount of time or obtain unknown information with a few data, it surprises me. Making me interested in physics.

The person that I admire

The creativity and curiosity is very important for make advance in the life, making new object that can help you in the normal life, like the wheel or discovering things that are in the nature and use it, like the fire.

Personally, I like the physics, I found very attractive the way that use the math for exemplify the universe, giving results very near to the reality, allowing to predict what is going to happens in the future.

Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727).jpg
Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton (1942-1726) was an English mathematician, astronomer and physicist. That created the infinitesimal calculus sharing credit with Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, discovered and formulated the laws of motion and universal gravitation, laid the foundation of classical mechanics. He demonstrated that the motion of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies could be accounted for by the same principles, removing the last doubts about the validity of the heliocentric model of the Solar System. And allot of stuff that makes you have bad score in a test, but all this stuffs that discovered fascinate me, how can ,a simple person, makes huge change in science opening a new area, helping whit a very complex use of mathematics.

But there are two more person in the present that I admire, related to the same area, astronomy and physics. Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Both, in my opinion, great science communicator and ,of course, astrophysicist.
Probably, if you watched "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey",originally presented by Carl Sagan, you have heard about Neil Tyson.
